All of the refrigeration units available use low power consumption technology. The connecting equipment include flexible hoses, couplings and steel buffer tanks for the glycol.
Compact, portable, air-cooled refrigeration units consist of a steel container shell, heat pump, compressor, heat exchanger, air condensers with fans, electric pumps for glycol, automatics for the protection and electronic controls.
The main purpose of the refrigeration unit is cooling of the glycol which circulates in the ice mats, which allows the formation of ice surface. The cooling capacity of the unit, depending on the features and size of the required ice rink, enables the creation of ice surface at the beginning of the ice-making process at an outdoor temperature of up to + 8°C, while the frozen surface of the formed ice sheet, of approx. 8 cm, goes up to +16°C, without the impact of wind.
Reinforced flexible hoses are used to connect AIS modules, buffer tank, refrigeration unit and for the flow of the glycol through metioned elements.
Buffer tank is used for the transportation and storage of the glycol. It is connected to the refrigeration unit, the AIS modules and the ice mats with flexible hoses.
Bauer quick couplings provide a quick and effective way to join the components of an ice rink.
